They have an elastic waist, tie in the front, and have wide legs. There is a split up both sides of the legs, but when you tie the front, the back material wraps over the front. If this is confusing, please feel free to ask me any questions. Could also be worn over a swimsuit. The fabric is 95% rayon and 5% spandex. Inseam - 31" Waist - 16 1/4"; stretches to 20"
