pamannh @kimberlyayes hi it closes magnetically. im not able to say when or if it will or won't open. I can tell you it is firmly closed as im looking at it. if you are casually walking i don't believe it will open however if you are running or jumping it could I truly don't know. I think it should be fine but again this is my best opinion not a guarantee of any sort. I hope I answered your question. if not please let me know i will try to answer or accommodate you if I can.
