These are adorable, high-quality shorts from BabyGap. Made of 100% cotton gauze, they are extremely lightweight and breathable; perfect for hot weather. They also have a more sophisticated look than most toddler shorts. The gauze is quite soft. It is sewn in a way that gives it decorative crinkles. The shorts have a comfortable, elasticized waist for an easy, pull-on style. Gap describes the fit as "easy through the hip and thigh." There are 2 slant pockets in front. The color is dark forest green. It's sort of an army fatigue color. I think the photos I took show the color more accurately than the 2 marketing photos I included in the listing. Machine washable.
