The photos do not do these espadrilles justice. The Denim fabric has a silver metallic thread added to it which creates a subtle but fun attitude to these shoes.Espadrilles scream summer, and this pair with their classic foot bed will keep your feet happy all summer long. The box says a size 40 (US 10) but they are not a 10, otherwise I would keep them! They fit a size 9 and they will initially be a little snug as espadrilles will open and shape to your foot as you wear them. CONDITION: Pristine NWT SIZE: 40 (on the box) but they fit a size 9 STYLE: The soles are made from jute which is a natural fiber and the jute is hard enough for a shoe sole, but also supple enough to be very comfortable. You can walk for hours with no pain. Braided rope that is in the shape of the espadrilles, which is then pressed, molded and stitched to prevent unraveling Natural rubber is used for the bottom of the sole. No chemicals are used, only natural materials. The fabric is cut by hand and then sewed to the sole. It takes 45 minutes to handcraft one. There are knots everywhere to secure the stitches, so they won’t unravel like commercially manufactured shoes. You can wear these shoes for years.
