The setting is an unusual hollow design with a small pattern of scrolls. This ring will last a long time if after each wearing you wipe off dirt & oil w/a lint-free soft cloth. Use the enclosed pink “jeweler’s cloth”-which is chemically treated to remove tarnish/bring back shine- when the metal starts to look darker or dull. If used too often, the chemicals in this cloth that remove tarnish can damage the ring. Only use it at the most once a month. If you store your ring in the enclosed PVC bag- it will prevent most air from flowing through-the air creates the oxidation-which causes the darkening or tarnishing. You’ll need to store the bag away from heat & light. These are a very small gift to you so you’ll have what you need to keep it looking new from the start.
