maleybell @fancymind it’s actually more like there was some glue residue and the tissue paper from the box got stuck to them (that’s the white you’re seeing). It is pretty hard, so I think you would need some kind of a blade to scrape it off.

fancymind @maleybell Hello. I appreciate your response. Do you think a strong brush will scrub it off, or is the glue/tissue that strong only a blade will work. I do not own a blade. I am not sure, I want to purchase or use a blade to remove the glue. Thank you for responding.

maleybell @fancymind I think it would, maybe even a butter knife or tweezers would work. If you interested, I can try to mess with it a little tonight. I only started to pick it off with my fingers so far and didn’t really try too hard since my husband got me a similar pair of boots for my birthday and I decided not keep both.

dhowad0 Hello, 😊 Thank you considering my offer and the counter offer. Does this particular boot run a little big or is it true to size? Normally, I’m a 6.5 or 7 even sometimes a 7.5 depending on the shoe.

maleybell @dhowad0 Okay, sooooo I am really glad you asked about this, because upon further inspection, they are in fact a size 7!! I’m usually a 6.5, but size up in boots so I can wear thicker socks. For reference on the sole, heel to toe, it’s 8 1/4 in and the widest part is 3 3/8 in. Let me know if you think that will work.

dhowad0 @maleybell Wonderful! Thank you so much! Now, the only thing will be getting off the adhesive. I have something that might work but I’m not sure. Did you try anything to get it off (soap, glue remover, nail polish remover) or did you just let it go?
