NWOT SHEIN flare jeans

I am borderline petite sizing, and these are too short for me! Surprisingly, they fit very well otherwise. See pictures for measurements. Sometimes this brand jeans come with a distinct smell. Might come out with washing, or soak with vinegar and water?
