NWOT Montreal 5” wide x 1” tall fluted ironstone dish, says “LeVieux Montreal - Old Montreal, Place Royals 1603” on front and on the back “Le Vieux Montreal by Crown Devon Ironstone England; Place Royals, 1603, Birthplace of Montreal, Named by Samuel de Champlain in 1611, Fort with first houses, church, store, built by Paul de Chomedy de Maisonneuve founder of Montreal, in 1642.” And again in French. Has pressed “A 4 2 8” on back also. Vintage from the late 1970’s early 1980’s.
