Is it possible to de-pill this top (as in a sweater) or is it more like fleece once it has been washed?

@celleigh my experience with this brand is that they should be washed cold on gentle cycle, or hand washed, with mild detergent, and then spun out in washer and layed flat to dry. This minimizes pilling. Also, owning a sweater brush (you can purchase them cheaply online) is a good idea for keeping sweaters looking new. That said, it is one of those super soft knits, which means it is likely to pill a little - but Evereve fabrics do stay soft if washed gently.
