It is made using a patented pixel weaving process that creates an exceptionally heavy fabric. The towel also has a hanger in the center of the short side and can be used as a decorative table topper or guest towel. It is machine washable but should not be put in a tumble dryer. Ekelund uses only natural fibers and is certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The towel is manufactured in Horred, a small town in the south of Sweden.
