Hard to believe this was worn as a costume. I had to grab it. Never fixed it, has been in my storage for a few years. This gown will need a lot of TLC. Would be the perfect wedding gown for someone or that Ceil Chapman collector. The satin gray color is beautiful. There is a acetate skirt and lots of netted tulle. Has a side metal zipper The bodice corset is fitted ,so pretty. Her dresses and gowns are very sought after. They have such detail. This gown has everything in couture dressing, its professionally made, boned like corset, ribbons to hold up the sleeves. A gathered hip bussel and train? Not too sure. Wow! This gown is a dream when professionally repaired. I am too scared to even attempt to fix by hand. Too shakey from my injuries. I've added a photo I found of a similar gown. When repaired it should resemble this one. They added a crinoline for extra fullness. It will need a professional dry clean steam. I would not attempt to steam it with water for it might leave water marks. Measurements coming soon... In good vintage condition for its age. Not perfect,but very wearable when repaired. Perfect for pin-up photoshoots. Sorry not priced yet. Please no lowballers. Thanks for checking out my closet from the past.

graveyardgal7 @vtgobsessed Hi, I have to close examine it. It has not seen sunlight for years. Been in my climate controlled storage .But now I'm getting a bigger place next year,hooray. What I remember is the gathering has come completely off in the back, so it looks like a train. The shoulders are good ,but the front fold on the neckline has come undone too. The tulle is good, definitely the bottom hem has come undone. In the photos you will see an age spot area, probably from bad storage practices. ...

graveyardgal7 I don't know if this can be fixed. I had it in acid free paper and a garment box by itself. There is no stage makeup anywhere, thankfully. Nor any bad smells ,it's old will definitely have to get freshened up. My mannequin might fit it,or myself. I'm on the small side. I might model it later. We'll see. Thanks for your interest.

graveyardgal7 @laurenthesis Hi my measurements are a 24 to 26 waist depending on fit, and 34 bust. Unfortunately it will need a lot of repairs, I wanted to have it dyed ,but never got around to it. Also have not figured out a price,but you can make an offer if you like. Thanks for your interest.
