Polished Sodalite set in handmade Sterling Silver setting. Never worn, used for display in my jewelry business. Measures 3/4”W x 7/8”L not including filigree or bail. Bail is on a hinge to move forward and backward. History and Folklore: Discovered by Europeans in 1811, sodalite did not become important as an ornamental stone until 1891. Dating back to ancient civilizations, the Sodalite crystal meaning has a long held association with the color of the heavens.
