downtonabby87 @yorkshiregirl I'm NOT English...WISH I was. It was my mom being in the military that initially brought myself, my older brother and younger sister there from age 14 to 18, then I married an American in the AF who was stationed there, and we had a child who was born at RAF Lakenheath, then about a year later he was stationed in California. We were there just under 4 years and he got order BACK to England!

downtonabby87 @yorkshiregirl I was ecstatic, but sadly after we were back in the UK only 3 years, we separated and later divorced and I moved to the states with my mom. Been back in the bloody US (haha!! 😅) since 2014 (Beaver, Pa) Yet, THIS particular area had grown on me 🥰 (I JUST turned 33 last week and I have two daughters; now 14 and 13 years old!)

theshababy @downtonabby87 HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE! I was taken in by the beauty of this country abode and all the kind shares--- I'm realizing now that you're in / from Beaver, PA? I have lots of family thereabouts! My father and his twin sisters grew up in New Brighton and my grandmother currently resides at Beaver Meadows.

Have to say, its a close 2nd to England in the beauty and history Beaver has to offer, as well as the homey feel ❤😌 Thougg History isn't a strong word to describe America! That house is OLDER than America if you can believe 😏

theshababy @downtonabby87 I love it! And, I can totally believe that—they don’t build them like that anymore—rafters and full brick! The Victorians in New Brighton and Beaver are very special to me. I saw on another listing that you’re a respiratory therapist?!? That was my dad’s forte! He served in the USAF for 20+ years and was a respiratory therapist/cardio pulmonary tech throughout until he retired and entered the civilian hospitals.

kcwilliams_ DowntonAbbey caught my eye!!!! I’ve lost count how many times my husband n I have watched the whole series. It’s also turned us into BRIT BOX to watch many other series from over yonder. You have a wonderful closet. Stop in n check mine out. “I love to be in love!”

I would get lost in another world at this antique cellar across the street from my girls' primary school. So many beautiful antiques AND a lovely little cafe that served the BEST homemade cake slices. Ahhhh, the memories are so tangible 😢

OMG-soooo inappropriate but hysterical! Can't seem to stream it anywhere though 🥺 It was originally played on channel 4 in the UK. You have some very cute finds in your closet 🩷👍🏼
