I absolutely love my Louis Vuitton Neo Cabby GM......but it's super heavy. Does anyone else have one? Someone told me that the first version was made with solid Marc Jacobs designed hardware....and that newer versions have hollow hardware to help lighten the bag. Also the brass is beginning to wear down to a silver color! Just wondering if anyone else has had these issues.

hillarybrooke @rajwilliams I think they do...the denim is heavy, but the shoulder strap weighs a ton so I don't use it. Yellow suede for the interior was a bad choice, it stains so easily. They wouldn't recommend a company to me for cleaning so I haven't tried anything yet. I'll try and post some photos of how faded the hardware is.

luvyorlook I luvvvvv mine - it is my favorite actually functional bag...But yes -- it's SO heavy ..and I'm used to luggage..And u out too much in it of course.But -hollow wouldn't cut it with thisbag- it would change it's whole feel!..practical wise yes.. but look at how sturdy the older canvas was too!
