casayescuela I am a new Posh Ambassador and my sales are totally down. No sales for more than a week 😞. The shares and the parties are not enough now. And the News Feed full with Live ads from other poshers. I am using this app since August, I think I made it to Posh Ambassador fast but now everything is stuck. So frustrating.

duganfamily Well said. I agree totally. The same chosen few seem to have parties constantly. My feed is clogged with their notifications. One that I see seems to have a party five or six times a day. I am a small posher with only my personal items trying to downsize my closet after retiring. So this is not full-time for me. I feel sorry for those for whom it is. It’s a shame we have no recourse.

I don't get any more live notifications in my feed .maybe 1 or 2 here and there. they need to start charging a monthly subscription to those that want their own shopping channel.. duganfamily @diane_valdez Yes. Me too. Not interested in the frenzy. I’ve heard some people talk about taking hours to prep. Then I don’t get it since they’re selling things for five dollars. I have always cross listed my things. In fact I started on OU and did very well. I added Poshmark and M and also did fairly well. Then things got going with Poshmark and it was the best of all three for a while.

I should not have to be bombarded with show notifications that I have no interest in. It’s also not fair to the people doing shows to have to start at $3 just to compete with all the others.

There's 1 particular "fabulous" male seller.. everything is designer.. I'm questioning whether some items are authentic.. People are shady.. I had someone buy some stuff at dirt cheap prices .. they re listed each individual item triple of what they paid.. no mention they were relishing.. Nothing! unfortunately, I don't see it changing..

I've also noticed I'm losing hundreds of followers I've worked so hard for in a day😔 which I totally understand because the notifications have been driving me crazy and I'm having to unfollow a lot of people which is really sad. If u have a show that promises to showcase everyone else's items that # of viewers is usually over a hundred.. people will stop following you because of the live notifications.. I've u followed a lot of people because of this BUT in doing so DOES NOT STOP the live notifications.. Thank u so much for shedding light on the other side of the coin

Some closet aren't even ambassadors with only a few listings have access to live.. Many people have asked but PM has never posted what the criteria was/is for live shows

deeceeshop @wrforrest well I heard live shows are going in a whole diff direction. Seems everyone’s going to have live access and seller has to pay for AD’s so their show gets showcased. That leaves the little guy out because they don’t make enough to pay Poshmark to showcase their closet when they have such little audience. It’s sad. I liked this APP. International is coming in as well they are just trying to figure out shipping and conversation of $$

acelestialsoul @playitagainpm Exactly. I’ve tried the “shared shows” & they’re a waste of my time. ✅Few attendees, ✅mostly desperate sellers, ✅no buyers or sales. I’m not interested in sitting in someone else’s closet for hours waiting for them to pull my item off the tray for a 1-minute auction. acelestialsoul @casayescuela I won’t be doing live shows to do high-pressure, 1-minute auctions. NO. 6 months later from your Dec. post & sales have tanked for everyone. Base sales price point is in the toilet. PM flushed the site when they put live shows in this site/app. 😫🥺😭

I’ve heard similar stories from PFFS that tried a live show and got screwed out of their prep & hosting time while taking low auction final prices-then having a large # cancel or sales to fall through (failed payment.) I see a LOT of live show ads that say “no cancellations.” I refuse to do them. PERIOD.

Even a $3-$5 dumb auction sale: Naver still nets $2.95, which, times tons of ding-a-lings giving their stuff away-is still a LOT of money heading straight to Korea.

As for the live notifications, I am bombarded with them. and I see some of the same people having more than one live party per day. I just wonder what kind of life they have outside of posh.🤪

acelestialsoul @playitagainpm Awesome. We need to get our income back. There HAS to be a way to Boycott lives and their hosts. Just unfollowing won’t work.Paralyzing them is our only prayer. There is a list as long as my arm of other problems were facing in this site, but live shows are the most damaging and egregious.

wrforrest @eiramoh Just saw your question. At present there is no way to turn off notifications for live shows. I sent Posh a letter telling them I do NOT like my news bombarded with live show notices. They basically said tough luck!!

fryemeup @playitagainpm Hi! So my news feed has been 10 miles long with Live Shows. I’ve been tryn 2 find a way 2 remove LS & not be a part of it. I’m not sure I think it’s a 24 turn around before it starts working (if it does) but I have 2 say I am not getting as many as before🙌 U don’t have 2 unfollow the Posher. Hit the drop ⬇️box on unfollow & you will see Live Shows slide the green button off & C if that works. I could be way off-so far I have had less/maybe it’s just wishful thinking🤞

I took all my items out of my closet this morning bc I was getting $5⬇️offers. 🤯 I made a new listing stating I would be listing new items …. Ummmmm I think I will be changing that as well. acelestialsoul @fryemeup I don't think that feature (follow, down arrow) mine are ALL grayed out (off) and I still get their live show alerts in my news. I hate to unfollow everyone that I've spent 5 years following (,791,099 as of today) With this Notice at the top of my closet, starting right now, I'm monitoring if my followers (388,047 as of today) goes Up or Down. p.s. - I don't know if follower #'s will have any impact anymore with paid promotions coming up next to break our backs.

70sgurl @wrforrest, go to phone settings>notifications>app notifications. select Poshmark and then you can silence or turn off completely. mine are silent so I get the PM P at the top of my phone, but no binging!

I do t like them either but some ppl creat a bundle and are able to send you notifications maybe blocking those who do lots of lives and do that would work. Lol.
