The bizarre thing is I just received a package from her (random pair of boxers) that originated in Washington, but the intended package I’ve been tracking from her originated in Florida. She’s of course deleted her account and won’t answer the phone. I’m trying to figure out what the best course of action is. Any advice is appreciated!

@heekass Yep, deleted. So you have her address, her name may have been fake. What I did with my scammer, was look up the phone number registered to the address. I called it explained my situation, & they put me in touch with her parents. I told them I wanted to give them the opportunity to do the right thing before I called the police, & reported mail fraud as well. Unfortunately these people were trash & still haven’t reimbursed me.

@heekass It took me a couple days to figure out exactly what my scammer had done, which info was valid & whatnot. Keep an eye out for other users she may have scammed, because they probably have pieces of helpful information.
I was able to completely dismantle my scammers plan. She still has my Item.. but I can see her house on google maps. I know the names & phone #’s of her entire extended family. I have photos of all of them.
I imagine she doesn’t sleep well at night lol.

@jasmine04fairy Yep, that’s a bummer. Trading just isn’t supported. It’s allowed but not covered by posh. I probably won’t ever do a trade again. Poshmark has been really good about refunding me in other cases though. I actually just had 2 major issues with seller’s in the last week. And I’ve been fully refunded both times. As long as you follow protocol & contact them quickly & politely they’ll usually take care of you. So sorry for you loss, that a big one. 💸😢
