Ever so often this needs to be in the feed. Low ball offers are OFFENSIVE. Offer something privately within decent range of the listing price, FOR ME THAT MEANS no offers that are half OR LESS the listing price. I try hard to offer items in a wide range of prices. Factor in the 20% poshmark fee. While you don't pay that fee the seller absolutely factors that into their price. Sending multiple LOW OFFERS results in blocking.

I’m new to PM. It seems that sellers are encouraged to make an offer — lower than the listing price, or accept an offer — lower than the listing price. So if that’s the case, does it make sense to add a few bucks to the listing price knowing this is how it’s played out?

@terryrose I wouldn't go above the listing price. You can go lower but it's advised you consider that price including POSHMARK 20% fee deduction to the buyer. So when negotiating offering half or less than half is an insult. This post is mostly for those who offer me 200 dollars before POSHMARK fee on a pair of brand new 1200 shoes 😳 or 5 dollars on a ten dollar shirt resulting in me eating 2 dollars 😩.
