polychrome @ninimama Hi! It's a lighter gray. It's not as dark as a slate or charcoal. I don't have the item in front of me right now, so I can't give an exact color match. But from memory, if you look up "shades of gray" in Wikipedia, I'd say it's probably closest to their light gray. Maybe even between the light gray and silver. If you would like a more definitive answer, let me know and I'll compare the actual item to an online spectrum of grays tomorrow.

ninimama @polychrome this item from w&p only comes in those 2 shades of gray. slate is the lighter of the 2. i just wanted to be certain as that's what i currently have.
