NEW, Vintage ENAMEL WAGGGS PIN World Association of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) was established in 1948. All Girl Scouts and All Girl Guides all over the world wear the pin with this symbol (although it was updated in the 1990s.) This particular style is Girl Scout catalog number 9-685, thus it has a J-hook style catch, and is probably 1950s. These enamel pins are much more sturdy and not prone to chipping like the painted ones, and they are smooth across the face rather than embossed. Original cards.
