Also just for clarification the gemstones are genuine gold Crystal. And the setting is simulated brushed gold which also matches the clasp. Actually I do have the tools, but I'd have to check the design to see if it's amenable to making it shorter without losing it's continuity. First, tell me exactly how long you need it to be. jewelryangel @caitbishop I examined the necklace. The two connecting ends have been seamlessly fused together. So there aren't any links to remove and then reassemble with jump rings. Sodering fumes 🙁are very unhealthy so I forgo that process altogether.😊 Sorry this unit didn't meet your needs. Angel😇
