@sylviagrosneau not sure the weight but the genuine Cowhide leather makes it very heavy, brought it from a US Boutique online& Bag is Brand New had never been carried or used the 2nd pic is it closed without the straps gathered to secure it, hope this answers a few of your questions PoshBabe, Blessings
