deathbedjewels @lindsayasmith11 Hi love! The earring posts are nickle-free brass & metal spike on bottom is genuine silver-plated. Hypoallergenic can be quite general since some people are allergic to anything that's not 100% 18k+ white or yellow gold (rose gold contains a percentage of copper), while others can do surgical steel, titanium, brass, etc w/o issue so long as there's no nickel or aluminum. I may be able to better help if you lmk what types of metal typically cause you allergy 🌹

lindsayasmith11 @deathbedjewels thanks for letting me know more info! I’m not 100% sure about my specific allergy. I just know that my ears have reacted to cheap metals and caused them to bleed and scab.

deathbedjewels @lindsayasmith11 Do you know which metals you've been able to wear without irritation? Cheaper costume jewelry earrings typically contain nickle unless packaging explicitly states "nickle free." Nickle's a common irritant/allergen that I'm also allergic to. Also depends how long you leave earrings in, which shouldn't be an issue with these since they'd be pretty hard to sleep in lol Always good to clean earring posts & earlobes w/ alcohol swabs before wear as well 👌✨
