@asanaderson hi! I would say yes they run closer to an 8. I’m typically a 7 in boots and they were too big on me even with thicker socks to fill them out. My mom is a true 8.5 with a wide foot and they were too small on her. I hope that gives you a bit more insight. Please let me know if you have any more questions😊
