NEPENTHE Custom Vintage Dynafelt Hat

I bought this vintage cowboy hat with its spots and moth marks because sometimes the best hats are old and well loved! I dyed it a rich blue green, reshaped it, burned it, and added a buckskin band, overlaid with bandana. Dyed string, two colors of leather laces and silk ribbon. It’s been finished with an African free trade bead and two feathers. It was then sanded back, and etched with a scene from my memories of Big Sur, which is where the name, Nepenthe originates. Native American symbols for “home coming” and “morning star” are etched into the crown and brim. Size 7 1/8 or 22.5” Please forgive me but I do not take offers on my custom hats.
