emilyrosebyhand Native Southwest turquoise is much bluer than this. look up Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. This is the version from China or Afghanistan.

freddyfinds @emilyrosebyhand there are several mines in the southwest that produce green turquoise (and blue). In fact, the Zuni say the blue turquoise is male and comes from the sky and the green is female and comes from the earth. Kings Manassa, Carico Lake, Ajax and lone mountain are a few mines here in the southwest known for their green turquoise. I’m not certain which mine this came from specifically but it’s from Arizona.
