joanwyoung Ladies, if you're wondering why I haven't been on PM to answer your questions, just take one look at this little angel. Got word Friday morning he was on his way so I threw my suitcase in the car and hit the road. With my daughter and son-in-law's help we made it but too late to see our boy. We got up Saturday morning bright and early and headed for the hospital. I think you can tell how proud this Grandma is! Lol! Anyway, I will be out of town until Wednesday but I'll try to check in a bit more regularly now. But if I'm not so prompt with my response, you'll know why. ;)

joanwyoung @barbyq Thanks! I really love spending time with them and I hate that we don't live near any of my babies. And for the next few weeks, traveling to see them is not going to be possible. I'm going to have surgery on my neck again at the same level they operated on in November 2012. Apparently my body didn't take too well to the artificial material of the disk so they're going in the front of my neck to replace the artificial disk with a new one, then going in the back of my neck to screw it in place. And they suddenly discovered, after having normal blood work as recently as 3 months ago, that I'm a diabetic with a blood sugar level of 363. They put me on insulin injections then found out I'm a brittle diabetic; I don't react to the insulin in a consistent, predictable way. Oh, and after I recuperate from the neck surgery, I very likely will have to have low back surgery. I start feeling sorry for myself and then I think of sweet Jayne and her constant struggle for her life and I'm ashamed I let myself sink into the self-pity. At least I finally have some answers and they're fixable or treatable. Every time I feel like I'm making headway to that catching up on life, I keep getting knocked back down, but I keep getting back up! Good luck catching up on your life, girl! It was great to hear from you!

joanwyoung @naturelover Thank you! This little boy turned 4 months old on 10/7. He came in at 18 lbs! He has nearly outgrown his 12 mo clothes! His weight ranked at 85th percentile and his length came in at 98th percentile (even though we're still waiting for Mom to find the paper she wrote it down on to know his exact length). In fact, growing out of his clothes has more to do with his length than his weight. This going to be one tall man! Lol!

joanwyoung @pittygirl Oh, no! And I'm going to GA to see him and his sisters this weekend!! I would hope there is no common address in Hattiesburg so it would be returned to you, but that'll take some time. And then you'll have to pay another shipping cost! OMG! This is going to cost you a fortune! I know how you feel though; one Christmas, I sent my husband to The UPS Store to ship all our grandbabies's Christmas to them - overnight! Hundreds of dollars worth of gifts and hundreds of dollars in shipping. When he got home, the idiot girl had pulled up 5yr old addresses on my two boys instead of checking what I'd written! Thankfully when my husband called, they were able to catch the pkgs and correct them but OMG! I was pissed!!! At least they covered the difference! Good luck! Keep me posted; depending on what you find out, I may have you send it directly to their address - which PM won't let you do. :(
