lorik36 My sweet18 y/o kitty went over the rainbow bridge in my arms, after the Lord’s Prayer, without pain or euthanasia! This really touched my heart. It’s only been 23 days - it is torture but she is with me (individually cremated) and with God. True animal lovers always seem to understand. ❤️🙏❤️

pawsandclaws98 @lorik36 ohhh Lori...I am sooo sorry....thank you for sharing your story. I and so many others have gone through this pain. It does seem so unbearable in the beginning...but in time you will continue to have those great memories as you look through photos and reminisce. I’m so glad your Kitty was pain free in your arms, my last two 16 year old siblings were home with me also and I made sure of it.

lorik36 @pawsandclaws98 Thank you so much! I’m so sorry about your special furries also! It is a painful thing, terribly so, but I know she and I were blessed that she passed the way she did. And I know she’s with God - all animals go to Heaven! God made them, too and they are incapable of sin.

lorik36 I have lots and lots of photos and videos and fur from daily/twice daily brushing sand whiskers, all of which I kept in a small box. How grateful I am now for that box! And all the photos & videos & dear people like you who reach out in compassion! God bless you! ❤️

pawsandclaws98 @lorik36 that is such a special thing I think to keep some fur from them. A very compassionate vet suggested that to me way back when my very favorite first calico cat passed away from liver cancer. It was heartbreaking for me as I had to start grad school the next day without her. But I always remember that vet suggesting I could clip a lock of her hair and I’ve done it ever since. It made me feel better in a way. Closer to her. And yes, I know I’ll see her again...🐾🥰🐈🐾

lorik36 @pawsandclaws98 You are such a dear and compassionate person. Yes, a clipping or from brushing, fur from her brushes - I have a box full of her fur from her once or twice daily brushes. I also have the brushes too. Oh what a way to start grad school! I’m so sorry! I went to law school with a 1 & 4 year old. It was crazy! Our pets are such a special part of our lives - what a true blessing.

lalulushop Tracey! Thank you so much for your note about our Gracie Girl! We miss her everyday but honestly she lived a very long great life! Most people should be so lucky!
