My 16 year old son, Cody, gave life in his death. He passed away in 2001 and gave new life via organ donation. His heart, liver and both kidneys were given to 4 people. Then on October 16, 2014, I was blessed with a life-saving transplant when I received a new kidney from a very dear and special friend. Organ Donation saves lives, it saved mine!! If you aren't a registered donor please consider being a hero! Thanks for reading this listing. I am here to answer any questions I can.

Awesome story! I donated my left kidney to my boyfriend on 7/27/21! I love that you are spreading the word! So grateful that you got a kidney and your son gave life to so many!

@stephies_boutiq My husband received his heart transplant 3 years ago♥️ The hardest part, for me, was knowing a day celebrated by our family was a day of unbearable grief for another family. God bless you for gifting your son’s organs. May God continue watching over you and all organ recipients. See my bio. I hope by sharing how grateful we are, more people sign up to be donors. I wish you health & happiness always😘

What a beautiful “listing”. Your son’s life, while far too short, had and continues to have so much meaning.💚 My daughter donated a kidney in 2016, and I donated in 2018. May God continue to bless you greatly. 🙏🏼♥️

What a blessing it really is to be a donor! I also donated my left one to my mom July 2001. She had polycystic kidney disease PKD. Its 50% hereditary & it missed me but 3 of my 9 brothers & sisters have it.
So sorry for your tragic loss of your son!! My mom only got two more years cause she ignored a lump in her breast from the immunosuppressive meds.

@stephies_boutiq I think she was tired n my granny her mom just past. So the grief of that made her not say anything & when she did decide to fight it was stage 4.

Its such a blessing. Alive donors have issues after hypertension infertility & brittle bone disease & because they took my left it affects how my lung works with the heart to get water off. But I'm finally on right meds.

So at 31 I didnt know it would affect me to not be able to get pregnant. But I'd do it again anyway even if I had known.

@stephies_boutiq God bless you too sweetie!!❤ That is such a extremely painful time to decide & an amazing sacrifice you chose so that others could live!! 💞❤❤ People like my older brother, who received his kidney just b4 Christmas 2021 after 7 yrs of dialysis & removal of both 12 & 13 pound kidneys! It takes great courage & strength to do what you did!! God is Great even in tragedies.

Oh my goodness what a heart tug! I too lost my 16 year old son in 2016 and I think he wanted to be an organ donor but I didn’t have the strength to turn his body over. He had been through so much and I was an emotional wreck. Bless you and your son and so amazing that you were saved as well. God bless!! 🙏😇😊❤️👍

What a amazing story. So sorry for your loss. And congratulations to you. I received a liver and kidney 2/22/22 from a young 24yr old man. I am so greatful he saved my life. My new liver was also shared that night with a baby. I am think of him and his family. God is good. Keep spreading the word of donating your organs when you pass cuz you don’t need them any more.

After 5 years on dialysis I got the call on Easter 2017 for my 2nd chance at life. Since, just know that I was able to see my three kids marry and walk my daughter down the aisle. My first grandchild was just born on my 55th Bday. Thank you for making that tough decision. Not a day goes by I don’t think of the other side. Forever grateful…from the other side 🙏

In July 2004, my 29 year old brother and only sibling died very unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm. We chose organ donation, and the lives of 6 people were saved. I'm still in contact with his bowel recipient, who was able to give birth to a little boy who would not be here today if it weren't for organ donation. Knowing my brothers death saved the lives of others helped me through that painful time. Thank you for donating your sons organs, and I'm so sorry for your loss! ❤
