My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish-First 3 Books

This is a set of books that is designed to get kids interested in reading while introducing them to the episodic format. The recommended age range is 6-9, but I've seen kindergartners and 6th graders reading the books, too. There are illustrations throughout the books to help young readers visualize the text. My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish (book 1) has 192 pages. The Seaqeul (book 2) has 208 pages. Fins of Fury (book 3) has 240 pages. I got this set for my son right as he was getting into the Percy Jackson series, so he only glanced through the first book. There is a little foxing on the corner of the box holding the books, but the books themselves have no damage. The spines are uncreased and the pages are unmarked. Please note: the older brother in the book uses the word "moron" and sibling rivalry is present. Most people find this harmless or use it as a means to discuss and teach about language/sibling rivalry, but I just wanted to note that these themes are present. Overall, the books are enjoyable and provide a great way to get kids interested in reading.
