My heart is broken. My beautiful girl Chloe passed away on Saturday April 25th, 2020. She was 10 years old. She was the sweetest, kindest and gentlest soul. She had a personality like no other. She is in heaven now with my Mom, who always called her "Cleo."π She is in a better place, able to chase all the rabbits, squirrels, ducks and deer, herding all of them. The last picture is Chloe on Saturday morning, still as beautiful as always. My family and I painfully miss her. So Sad.π

@charmingarments Thank you.ππ₯°π You and I talked about this day coming several months back.ππͺπ₯ The cancer started shutting down her body. I had been up most of the night trying to comfort her and ease her pain with pain meds. I thought she was going to OD I was giving her so much. I almost couldn't go thru with it on Sat., but I know in my heart she was ready.ππ So horribly painful. πππ I know only time will heal. @frankiemom Aw, thank you very much. ππ₯°π It was completely devastating, but I knew I had to for her. ππ I didn't want her to suffer, and the cancer was shutting down her body. I had been up all night with her trying to ease her pain. My Vet and all the staff wept with me. She was loved by everyone. The toothy picture is her smile. She always smiled like that. It's my favorite picture too.π Thank you for your kind words. I truly appreciate you.πππ

I'm so sorry for your loss, I almost lost my Chuck not long ago, a chi-weenie mix, he was bad off, the vet got him just in time, had "dog fever", they gave him his shots plus a serum shot, look, he pepped up that next day, Chuckie's back, lol I call him the Sergeant Major, had him snipped, OMG he gained weight too, meat loaf w/ legs, haha, best wishes to you, Bill

Barb so sorry to hear about your precious girl I lost my little sweetie a few months ago just before Halloween I had to put him down he got very sick very quickly his little kidneys started shutting down so I definitely know what you went through.Second no apologies necessary I thought about you a few times and was going to reach out just to make sure you were okay. @chloescloset07 You're most welcome, I had a huge GSD, Blue Max, lived 15 yrs., this dog was human, cried tears, did everything but talk and walk on his hind legs like people but still, he'd ride ON, not in but on my jeep, watched me change gears then grabbed the shifter, yuch, slobber, I had go home in 1st gear one day, cuz of his bug butt in my lap, fur flying, big radar ears, oh he loved it, glad he did but not me, nasty, lol

Barb, I'm just read about the loss of your beloved Chloe. I'm so very sorry :-( How I found out is I saw her profile picture with that cute little toothy grin and I went into your closet and saw her picture. Something made me click on it and then I read about her passing. My cat passed a few years ago and I still miss her. But I had her cremated and she's in a cat cookie jar on the counter where she always loved to be. Take care and cherish the memories :-) She will always be with you in spirit.

@newton11 Oh,wow! No, I didn't go to school on the island we lived in Ft.Myers. I worked at Letizia's restaurant that was on West Gulf Drive. Bob Janes owned it. I use to go to McT's and the Jacaranda after work and hang out on Captiva. Several of my friends worked at the Bubble Room and the Mucky Duck too. Many fun times and fond memories. π Thanks for taking me back in time. π

@chloescloset07 people that donβt have pets donβt understand. We moved to another city, and 5 months later, 3 of our dogs passed in 2 months. That was one of the hardest things for us ever. We just donβt have them long enough do we, but we have wonderful memories! π

@yuhaftasell I know one day again we'll get another dog. You're very special to have three fur babies. We had actually looked at getting a sable Collie (Lassie) or sable Sheltie, but then we saw Chloe (Tri Sheltie).
