@thewyldelife Thanks! I’m excited! Time to prepare for the next one! 😳 Do you weave?
thewyldelife
@njgrl54 I don’t but a young lady in Virginia buys old sweaters from (unweaves them) and sells the yarn as vintage yarn . I think it’s amazing.

Love this! It looks super comfy for bare feet. I’m a spinner and weaver, too 🙂

@forsythia09 it is certainly contagious. Once you start one, the other naturally follows. I didn’t think I’d weave with yarn, rugs only, but I took a class and it’s not as bad as I thought. What are you working on?
forsythia09
@njgrl54 right now on my loom, I have a cotton rayon blend warp, tencel weft scarf. I’m working on spinning some batts that I blended from a grab bag of scraps that I bought from an indie dyer on Etsy. I got into fiber arts in the reverse order from most people. Started with weaving, then spinning, and finally knitting. I was lucky enough to live just a half hour from an amazing weaving shop for several years. It was such a great resource for classes and supplies.

@forsythia09 That’s awesome! I love dyeing the best. Then spinning batts. Need more practice spinning and weaving. Congrats on your accomplishments.
