Murano MCM Vintage Glass Duck Swan Bird Art Glass Sculpture

This vintage blown glass Murano sculpture is simply incredible. Usually these glass birds are featured on a single pedestal, and it is very rare to find a piece that has multiple flairs or column like structures at the base. I bought the piece as it is from an antique store and am therefore not sure if the sheared edge on the "column" without the bird is intentional or not. It very much looks like an i tentional part of the sculpture, but it is possible that it is actually a break. Please see pics for more detail. Ca. 9.5 inches tall. There is a blown glass core of dark blue inside the lighter blue glass body. The detail is simply fabulous and just stunning to look at. It is truly a one of a kind work of art from Murano Italy.
