smokinokin66 @catladi49 - at first glance, this does not look authentic. The leather should be Glace or Darwin - and it appears to be an inferior pebbled leather. Roxie was never made in that kind of leather. Sorry.

smokinokin66 @catladi49 - Also, notice the "ears" (sides) have pebbled leather - but on an authentic Roxanne, when hanging down, it's the natural suede part that shows and this bag is not like that. That's one of the easiest ways to identify a fake Roxie.

smokinokin66 @catladi49 It's possible that this seller really just didn't know. There are a lot of fakes. Thing is, the bag hasn't been in production for many, many years - so finding so many of these, well most are fakes. Also, when you hold a real Roxanne, you'll see what I mean...they're HEAVY - the weight of the leather is so thick, smells like heaven, and ages like NO other leather out there. Mulberry doesn't make Darwin any more...it's amazing when you can get your hands on it!

mollydick @smokinokin66 there is another bag on here with same serial number. Listed new with tags. I asked her for information about where she purchased and she never replied either. As soon as I saw the serial number, I recognized it as a common fake.
