brian_kile @tyeastr Unfortunately, I think you would require a 41 or a 42 to be comfortable. A 40 is considered an 8.5, but I had my wife try them on (she's a full 8) and she couldn't get the 40's on all the way. They are leather and will break in, but I don't think you will be happy with the 40's. Sorry about that!

meisch1234 I just read above normally European sizes run 38/size 8 39/9 & 40/10. Im 8.5 so they must run pretty small.

brian_kile @meisch1234 I apologize for the delay, somehow I missed this comment. Here are the approximate measurements taken on a size 39: 11" tall Boot opening with the zipper unzipped is about 8" x 8" Measure the bottom of the boot for size reference, size 39 is 10" heel to toe and 3.75" wide at the widest point.

brian_kile @meisch1234 I would assume so, that would at least give you a little room. The will stretch a little once you break them in, but not a whole lot. Maybe a 39 if you wear thin socks and are ok with breaking them in. 40 for thicker socks and or more comfort.

meisch1234 @brian_kile Im like 9.75" so not positive what to do? It seems wide enough in toe area to be able to give it time to stretch.

brian_kile @sunflower739376 I apologize for the delay, I would actually suggest a 38, the feedback I'm getting is that they tend to run a full size small, and the conversion charts seem to differ on EU to US size conversion, but I think a 38 you should be able to get on for sure and after they break-in, you may have to go to a thicker sock, but better safe than sorry.

brian_kile @meisch1234 Yes according to the chart I'm looking at an EU 40 is 10" long, an EU 39 is 9.875" long (difficult to measure that precise), so my measurement could be off by a hair. I think going bigger is better with these brand of shoes and boots, they tend to be tight.

brian_kile @dana_fanton unfortunately not, mostly smaller sizes, especially when you factor in that they run small.

brian_kile @youlike2021 I just found a new conversion chart that seems to match up pretty well with this brand of shoe. It seems there really isn't a "standard". This chart recommends a 39 or a 40 for a size 7 US women's.

brian_kile @evie_46 They seem to be true to the size on the chart that is in the pictures. They are in European sizes, and there are several different conversion methods, but the one I posted seems to be the closest to what these represent. Thank you!
