Mozarkite Jasper(Pink Red and Gray Chert)/Missouri State Stone

Comes from southwest Missouri. Mozarkite's red mineral has been identified by some experts as Rhodonite along with broken Quartz reformed and grew together (related to Chert/hornstone). This beautiful cabochon is triangular in shape but with angled sides; it displays the darker grays of Mozarkite with the bright reds. Some photos are in bright sunlight and one was inside late evening. It can be carried for energy, or the flat back of the cabochon is all ready to be placed into a pendant setting or wire wrapped. Unique chert or flint due to the variety of colors. The name is a portmanteau, formed from Mo (Missouri), zark (Ozarks), and ite (meaning rock).
