tashaping @julieschmitz hi again, sorry I got confused, this would NOT fit a US Medium which is size 8-10. US Small is 4-6. This jacket is size 6 which is the bigger end of a Small.

tashaping @julieschmitz the thick/thin layering above is referred to if you're size 4, then you can layer thicker, if you're size 6, then it will be more fitted. hope that helps!

tashaping @julieschmitz however, if you're referring to European or Asian sizing in Small/Medium, the first comment applies. But because the sizing chart varies a lot from place to place, I would go by to the measurement photos I provided.
