May I ask you what size you normally wear? I know sizing is difficult with formal dresses. Also maybe bra size. I am a 38D . Sometimes I wear a 16 in regular dresses…a 14 when I am 10-15 pounds less (working in that!) I am looking for my son’s wedding in October. The dress is gorgeous. I would probably have to have the train altered as the wedding is a brunch wedding. Thanks for your help :)

Hi Lisa,
I normally wear a size 16 but the stylist recommended I order a size up for the bustline. I am a 40D....thus the alteration to size it down a bit in other areas. The seamstress at the boutique did an amazing job in the alterations. As mentioned in the add, it has never been worn. It was for my son's wedding last October also but was cancelled due to Covid. They had a summer wedding and I had to buy 'another' one appropriate for the weather.
Thank you,
Toni

@toni556 would you be able to measure from side to side at the waist? I am short waisted and thick waisted! I think that would be the part that would have to fit. I am very interested. I think that would really help and I notice a lot of postings have measurement which is helpful. Thanks for your earlier quick response :)

Yes I can do that. I am not at home at the moment but will measure as soon as I get home. Will probably be around 8:00 p.m. CST.
