This lyrical Songbird was inspired by a jacket cover by Talwin Morris, who designed for English publisher Blackie and Sons in the late 19th century. Morris was connected to Charles Rennie Mackintosh and known for his Glasgow Style. Each Motawi tile is crafted by hand. The "Songbird" tile boasts dramatic color contrast and texture which are complimented by the frame. Sleek lines and emphatic geometric forms are stylized by natural motifs.
