bestbargain4u @doctorskitty I totally understand, that is my situation as well. As you can see I have both of those sizes in my closet :) I think it has more to do with the actual cut, style and material of the shoes that will cause my own size to fluctuate up and down.

bestbargain4u Measured at the sole = 9 1/2", measured at the opening of the start of the toe area is 7 1/8" and at the mid-toe, it's about 4". I also measured them on and the opening area by the start of toes was 7 1/2" so they do have a little give.

bestbargain4u The measurement of 7 1/8" is from one side of the toe area to the other, the measurement of just the distance of the opening is 2 5/8" unstretched.
