Moses with Ten Commandments Statue, Purchased in Italy in 1965

This statue features Moses holding a book with the Ten Commandments. He is seated on a pedestal. Statue features intricate details of Moses' face and attire. Statue was purchased at the Vatican in Italy in 1965. Back of statue has ITA to signify that it was made in Italy. I am unsure of material used. It appears to be some type of stone; possibly marble. Stone is shiny. Statue is 5 inches tall, 0.75 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. It weighs 7 ounces. Excellent condition. No chips, etc. No smoking home. No pets.
