meagan1130 Is it a “true” size 4 or a wedding size 4? I know wedding dresses tend to run super small. Also, has it had any alterations?

jane_kagan @meagan1130 it’s true to size. I had it hemmed. It will need to be hemmed and the bustle adjusted to about 5’9 with heels. It’ll need to be cleaned and maybe hemmed again at the base since I wore it to the ground but indoor wedding and just on the street for pix. No Mud or sand or grass

meagan1130 @jane_kagan thanks! Couple more questions (sorry so hard to shop for a wedding dress online). What were your measurements when you wore this (Chest, hips, and waist). I am around a size 4/6 but I know sizes vary. So the length is 5’9”? I’m 5’5” and don’t plan to wear heels, so I can just get it hemmed up. Also, in the second picture, it looks like it has sleeves, but the first one shows halter. Are you wearing a shrug in the second picture?

jane_kagan @meagan1130 I wore a lace jacket for a religious ceremony. I’m a true 4 but curvy. 27 jeans 34b needed a little padding.

meagan1130 @jane_kagan do you have the style name or number so I can look up some more detailed pictures of the dress? I am very interested! It sounds like we are very similar sizes. Did you have cups sewn in or was there already padding in the dress?

jane_kagan @meagan1130 I wore a padded strapless there are bra guides to keep it in place. I don’t have the model number or style number though.

meagan1130 @jane_kagan do you have a few mor pictures? Is the back zip or button? You mentioned it was lightweight, right? That’s one of the main things I’m looking for-lightweight and comfortable (and on a budget!).

jane_kagan @meagan1130 I can take some more pictures this week. I found this dress easy to move around in and comfortable to sit in. I mean it’s still a wedding dress so not like a beach maxi or anything... I’ll take more pictures this week and post for you. You want the zipper, anything else?
