I love connecting w/SO many of you! I figured an easy way for you to get to know more about us is to add a little blurb. We love life & despite our current circumstances w/chronic illnesses & surgeries etc, especially now with my Mom having come to live w/us from Maui, our home is full of love, laughter, silliness & snuggles! We’re foodies! We love to grow our own (even in winter) & create new recipes. We’re obsessed w/mushroom foraging & exploring our rivers & mountains when we’re able! Aloha!

barefootmuse @lherk1 Aloha, Lisa! The last pic is one I took of Auggie last week after I’d finished building our winter fire pit. He’s such good company and he’s always our little helper, that’s for sure. He just loves, loves, loves being outside, and with us outside! I have more photos I need to find. As a photographer you can probably imagine that my iPhone is FULL of thousands of photos! Gah! 😂 How’re you and your Sweet Carolina today?

Same ADORABLE little mug❤️ I think it’s a very popular combo as far as dogs go..lol..thank goodness we are lucky enough to have one!! And yes, veeeeery helpful..making sure no squirrels or chipmunks are out of line, and making sure frisbees and balls are being thrown at all times🤦🏽‍♀️ thanks for sharing with me, I love that we met here! barefootmuse @wrforrest The 3rd pic down is of one of our 5 Hummingbird feeders! I need to upload a couple of photos of the Hummingbirds. They recognize faces and voices and are now so comfortable around us that they’ll flutter right around our heads and drink from our hands sometimes! It’s so amazing. And then just below we have a family of Deer foraging right now in our backyard! You MUST come for a visit. We’ll pamper you and Nature will pamper you too!

meisch1234 I miss you sweetie 😘 just checking in. I had my total knee done 5weeks ago & let me tell you worst pain ever. It doesnt feel human at all. I wished i hadnt done it! My pain was bad, it was bone on bone on one side so swelled alot. But nothing as painful & rare feeling as this heavy joint. My Dr said, i was one of his youngest patients n he was retiring this Sept so i did it. Can you say some prayers for healing luvy. How is mom? And you two doing? PM me sometime Sister ☺ 💞❣
