Moon bag by Patricia Smith Vintage needlepoint Brown vegan leather Shoulder Bag

Vintage one of a kind Moon Bag by Patricia Smith 9 x 7 x 2 21” drop Custom made from a hand done needlepoint design. Patricia Smith was in business 1970s to 1997. Patricia designed the artwork on the lacquered panel based on the needlepoint design submitted to her. all moon bags have a Velcro strip so the lacquered panel could be interchanged. Needlepoint kits were sold at local yarn shops and you would choose the yarn, complete the needlepoint and send it in to have the bag made. This bag features a vintage design of ladies in hats with a 1920s Era car. The lacquered panel was custom by Patricia made to match the design. The bag is trimmed in brown faux leather with a shoulder strap. The inside has a magnetic closure and an inside zippered pocket and it is lined in Black polyester. Excellent condition. A few minor scratches on the lacquer panel.
