can you remove the stylus or is one side always open?

@koniw Hi. The stylus is under the cap and you twist the top of pen to retract the ballpoint. I will double check that as soon as I get home in a couple of hours this evening.

@koniw I added pictures 2, 3 and 4 to show that you insert the ballpoint under the top of the pen with the stylus out. Then you can screw the stylus up into the bottom of the pen by twisting the silver barrel that’s holding the stylus so that no points are exposed for convenient carrying in your pocket or in a handbag.
