Miniature Vintage Ceramic Japanese Seven Lucky Gods (Shichifukujin) Set
This charming miniature set features the Shichifukujin—the Seven Lucky Gods of Japanese mythology—each believed to bring happiness, prosperity, and good fortune. These gods represent a blend of Shinto, Buddhist, Hindu, and Taoist influences and have been celebrated in Japan since the Muromachi Era (1336–1573), especially during the New Year.
Each figure is crafted from ceramic and affixed to a black wooden base with Japanese characters. The figurines measure approximately 0.75” tall and 0.5” wide. The base is about 6.25” long and 1.5” wide.
Condition: The figures are in great vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The wooden board shows some wear, including minor stains and scratches.
Made in Japan. A delightful collectible or decor piece rich in cultural significance!
