Vintage Antique Miniature Queen Louise Portrait on Porcelain Oval in Ornate Wooden Frame. Small wooden floral scroll oval frame. Domed oval white porcelain plaque of a portrait of Queen Louise of Prussia, blue eyed beauty, white gauzy dress and scarf and a small crown with a star in her dark blonde hair. Porcelain is imprinted 22 on the back. Frame is 4" high x 3 1/4" wide. Porcelain is 2 5/8" x 2" wide and fits perfectly in the frame. Wooden backer to secure in the portrait with three swiveling flat metal brackets. Very good vintage condition. Shows wear due to age. Wooden backer is primitive. Beautiful romantic portrait.
