@believer13 Right back at you!! Hope you are well today!! This is a terrible disease and one that is not recognized by the masses as a debilitating disease. We need to speak louder and force more research to solving this mystery brain pain!!! 🤯
believer13
@redhead_rising agree praying for you the only emergency med that works for me is relpax however since I have been hydrating & stretching cutting back on sugars they have lessened a bit - if you ever need to talk message me - 🙏😘
redhead_rising
@treazuretreebtq Yes - ugly is a kind word!! I’m
Sorry you suffer too! I have met so many PFFs with this condition. I get two types of migraine so one does not allow me to take the triptans for fear of stroke. So we continue to search and search and search for the right combo. Good luck to you!!!!!
darlasworld

@redhead_rising
OMGoodness! I experience migraines too! They started about 3 years ago ...
I take rizatriptan if I feel one coming and they go completely away in 1-2 hours!
But also, I've been googling tons of research and have found that you can access accupressure points on your own body and scalp that really work ... AND ... if you place a bag of ice at the base of your scalp on the back of your neck for 20 minutes or however long it takes ...
seraphimdipity
@redhead_rising
... or however long it takes ... this has stopped my migraines in their tracks! I know everyone is different, but "Youtube" migraine remedies and see what you think!!! ❤️🙌❤️🙌❤️
redhead_rising
@seraphimdipity thank you so much!! These have been going strong since 2003. I just had about 10 day migraine. It would ebb some - then slam me again. I’m seeing a new pain mgt specialist soon. Maybe some answers. I can’t take the triptans because I get a 2nd type of migraine - and the triptans are contraindicated. It’s the pits.
seraphimdipity
@redhead_rising
10 days!!!! Girl ... let's stick together In prayer ... God has a plan for sure, and promises us that ... A "man" may have many troubles, but the Lord your God will deliver "him" from them ALL! So we anticipate total deliverance, Lord, in Jesus' name! If you haven't already, try the ice pack idea and checkout migraine remedies on youtube! I have found tremendous relief from the ideas I have come across, total self help ... with the hand of God of course! ❤️🙌🕊️🙏

Oh hells to the YEAH! Debilitating is an understatement.....
ragsandkicks
@darlasworld same here - EMGALITY literally gave me my life back...along w some lifestyle changes, but still...night and day for me! @redhead_rising have you tried it?
redhead_rising
@ragsandkicks I tried Ajovy and Aimovig - was a disaster. We gave up for awhile after that. My dr just said my body is rejecting everything because we’ve tried soooooo many things!! It’s about time to try something new again!! Thanks for the post! So happy you’re life is back!!!! 😍
ragsandkicks
@redhead_rising oh yeah those did ^**# for me too. I took EMGALITY as my last final try and it has the formulation that made it work with zero side effects. I hope you can find relief very very very soon much love, Ann
ragsandkicks
@redhead_rising my doctors who see it on my Med history also express that they have heard it has been a life changer for their other patients....prayers
redhead_rising
@ragsandkicks I have friends that have new lives with those shots!! I had 8 months of horrid bone pain and lost 40 lbs. I looked horrid. Completely took my appetite/taste buds. It was terrible for me! But I know many that it’s a miracle cure!!!
dachsundlife78
I get them too feel better love 💜😘
theposhybeehive
Hallelujah sister!!!!! I have had these since I was in a bad car wreck in 1995! When I was in the working world, I had a boss once that would not let me go home if one got bad… so I would be at work, hat and glasses on….laying under my desk!! Amazing how there is a LOT of people that really don’t understand them!!
kyann57
For all of you that suffer from migraines, LISTEN UP!! I went into a BOTOX trial therapy at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center about 10 years ago and after receiving these shots for two years, I NO longer suffer from migraines!!! I still have to take Topomax daily but that is it!! Cured!! The Botox shots worked!! Truly amazing!! Talk to a neurologist that specializes in headaches and they can get you these shots!!

I'm not sure if you saw my messages while you were out sick but eating vegetarian stopped my migraines which started in 2002. I had to go off the vegetarian diet a month agoto get an official diagnosis and I'm never doing it again because the migraines are back and I feel awful! I know that not everything will help everyone but it's unreal what a huge difference it makes in my physical health. XOXO
misstdd1972
((Hugs))for the migraines, have them with my ms They are a pain ha ha no pun intended😈
redhead_rising
@hopeful42021 THANK YOU - Annette! I have tried going dairy free - which you can’t believe all the products that truly have dairy. I have not tried the vegetarian route tho! I love meat tho! Haha. Would be very hard for me! Lol. I think I could give up veggies easier. Lol! (Kidding). Xoxo
redhead_rising
@misstdd1972 Hi Terri! I’m so sorry about both of your conditions! Ugh!! Hugs to you, too!! 💝
misstdd1972
@redhead_rising pssst…God doesn’t give hard stuff to weak people. 😈We got this!!!
redhead_rising
@misstdd1972 I’ve heard that about Him! 💕 Bring it, right? 💪🏼

1/2 @redhead_rising I eat dairy free too. After death came knocking at my door in 2019 I decided to eat healthier. My son tried to get me off of meat and I was like no way! I ordered Daily Harvest to eat healthy and in 3 weeks I felt normal for the first time until I ate meat. I didn't realize that Daily Harvest was meat free but as soon as the light bulb went on I went back on. It really blows my mind how life changing it is. My biggest problem is sugar which I let myself have on Saturdays.
sendingposhlove
2/2 @redhead_rising HonestlyI don't know if I would have given up meat for the migraines but I have multiple issues thanks to a Dr. Dummy and Lyrica. I actually had to get off of the vegetarian diet to get an official diagnosis forPOTS so I have been feeling crappy and am ready for the vegetarian diet to kick in. My histamine intolerance is making it harder for it to kick in fast like it used to. Love you and if you ever need me I'm here! <3
misstdd1972
@hopeful42021 I’m not a big meat eater I’ve never been a big meat eater. If somebody would just make vegetarian dishes for me I would be set. I do like sweets.
onthe_buy_you
@believer13 me too! Relpax is the ONLY medicine that will knock them out. I have only had one instance where it took more than one pill. Nothing else worked for me. I tried them all relpax is a life saver! FR!
believer13
@fleur_de_ti i pray a healing over you in Jesus name 😘🙏
arri2872savy
Hi, coincidence maybe? I just came across your msg and I too suffer from migraine for well over half my life! I’ve tried everything, today’s as a matter of fact I had to get a bolus of IV steroids, Zofran and toradol to break a 2 week cycle of my migraine! It takes time away from my family and it is very frustrating!
It was very warming hear all your stories! I currently do Botox with Maxalt a triptan but I did not realize a triptan can cause a migraine?
redhead_rising
@fleur_de_ti Hi! I loved Relpax for a long time. But they all tend to lose their effectiveness over time. I loved the Maxalt 10mg too! Melts on your tongue. Lifesaver. For awhile. I get a basilar migraine, too. Looks like I’m having a stroke. Can’t take the triptans anymore. 🤬
sendingposhlove
1/2 @misstdd1972 I'm just seeing your comment. My apologies. I don't cook at all. I order Daily Harvest and some salmon and eggs already made from another place and I just pop it in the microwave. If I didn't try Daily Harvest multple health issues would have been disaterous. In fact I had to get off fo the vegetarian diet for an offical POTS diagnosis and it's been so bad that I'm back on some risky medication.
sendingposhlove
2/2 @misstdd1972 The vegetarian diet got me back to normal two times in 3 weeks but I now have a Histamine Intolerance that makes it take much longer. I have just been shocked though at what the vegetarian diet can do as I have been eating meat for almost 48 years. It improved my fibromyalgia, CFS, got rid of my chrinic migraines and POTS symptoms. :-) I'm blown away so I'm telling everyone it might help. By the way I'm 1973. :-) XOXO
amandalhawkins
@hopeful42021 thanks for the helpful information. I have tried so many different meds and alternative meds. It’s a frustrating process and very debilitating. Prayers for everyone out there!
misstdd1972
@hopeful42021 I grew up eating out of a West Virginia garden. Oh how I dearly miss it. I live in South Florida now. Not even close😮💨Veggie wise
misstdd1972
@veni_vidi_amavi yes Botox!!!
veni_vidi_amavi
@misstdd1972 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
misstdd1972
@hopeful42021 cooking ugh
sendingposhlove
@amandalhawkins You're most welcome! If you try it let me know and give it a couple of months and keep a journal with your daily symptoms. It gives you more energy too. ;-) XOXO
sendingposhlove
@misstdd1972 I know right! I don't understand how people enjoy it. My husband's mom was a huge cook but if my husband wants something now he has to cook it himself or hit the restaurants. Lol I hope that you're having a Wonderful Day!<3

It’s so true! I never had migraines till I started getting my monthly infusions of IVIG. They’re becoming more prevalent. Thank you for posting this! When they come I hide in the dark, my bedroom gets no sun & has blackout curtains! Thank you again! I’m sorry you get them! The meds barely work 😢
arri2872savy
Hi, I love all the posts and hopefully by sharing we can get to the root of migraines! I also wanted to share that I am doing a trial purchase of a product called Cefaly, I am not trying to promote or sell anything. Maybe some of you have heard of it, it is a Tens unit that is specifically made to “help prevent/treat acute or preventive migraine HAs by sending the electrodes to relax the Trigeminal nerve.
arri2872savy
I have been using this for about a month and I can say that for me it has been helping quite a bit, which I did not have much faith in! So, hopefully this will continue to work for me and it has a couple of setting for “prevention” and “acute” migraine HAs. Just wanted to share for those who are interested in alternative tx. I must say it is expensive for a Tens unit but may be worth it in the end tbd? If anyone also has used this product I would love to hear your opinion and feedback❤️
dressinglauren
I'm so sorry to hear you suffer from them also. mine have been particularly persistent lately 😰
arri2872savy
Thank you, I hope they ease up!!!
texter88
Have you tried Ubrelvy? It really works for me & no down time My Neurologist gave me 7 sample packs & I was shocked that it worked. They are $$ I have govt assisted ins I can’t afford it. But if you have commercial insurance it’s covered. Go to their website I have suffered from chronic migraines my whole life. The meds give me memory loss & are all controlled substanceThank You for sharing this. I have felt pretty isolated because people just don’t understand how real this is. 🙏🙏
lotsoflovexoxo
Love this listing..I also suffer badly from them..thank you for bring awareness..pray for all🙏🏻
thegoodstique
Hey! nice to know ppl who can relate. About every med that ppl mentioned, I've tried. Stay positive 💕 if u still can't right med(s). ~100 genes assoc w/migraine, so what works for 1 person won't always be the magic med 4 the next. I joined World Migraine Summit this yr (def rec!) & got great tips from experts: exercise (even during Migraine- easier said than done..lol), Omega-3s (salmon great - walnuts 2 if nuts aren't trigger), good sleep hygiene, hydration, & self care (ex:meditation).

Intractable migraines here and a feeding tube!!! (Pineal cyst 7mm, gastroparesis awareness)
domanick24
migraine suffer here also have had them since i was a little girl, been on every medication thats out there 😞 stay strong💪🏻
redhead_rising
@rissaloves2185 I’m so sorry for all of us! It’s beyond miserable. I have had basilar migraines for about 20 years, also. This type comes about every 8 weeks (or less). No one has been told me why it’s that exact. Unfortunately - I experienced something horrendous a month ago. (My basilar ones I know the exact time it starts. I load up on meds and go to bed. It used to be ambulance rides, ambulance rides, ambulance rides. They sort of mimic a strike.
redhead_rising
Part 2: I ended up with complete left side forms of paralysis. I couldn’t swallow, walk, and couldn’t control my bladder. After every test (which I have already had a billion) - they determined no stroke - but a hemiplegic migraine. Very rare. (Of course, that’s my luck) and horrible! Please be careful out there - if you feel different predromes, pay attention’
rissaloves2185
Mine are intractable they last up to 72 hours check out my YouTube it’s not that great but it shows my journey!!!and I’ll subscribe back if you have one?
