Midcentury Modern Hellerware Yellow Melamine Bowl With Lid. Designed by Massimo Vignelli. Made in Italy. One piece of the Hellerware System of stacking and compact dishes. Largest Covered Bowl. Measures 9.75" wide and 4". Beautiful vintage condition with vibrant color and little signs of use. No cracks, chips or discoloration. Bright Yellow is the original collection. Hellerware won the Compasso d' Oro award for good design in 1964. Found at the MOMA and Copper-Hewitt Museum in New York. Lovely and functional for the kitchen, decor or use as stylish storage.
