Mid-Century Silverplate Pin Brooch - Lg Double Floral Design

Dating to the 1960s or so, may I offer this very large double floral pin that is oval in shape and makes an impressive statement. Because of the wonderful patina to the piece and the way that it shined up after a polish, I thought the piece might be sterling but the lack of a hallmark leads me to think that the piece is silverplate. There are a couple points on the piece that are a bright gold color so the base metal is possible brass. Safety catch at the back to hold the pin in place. Condition is excellent with no problems I can spot. Metal Content is, I think, silverplate, possibly over brass. Size is a large 3-3/16" long x 2-7/16" wide. Weight is 32.8 grams. Final Comments: Perfect for a jacket or coat lapel - it certainly won't get lost in that spot!
