Mid-Century Rhinesonte Bird of Paradise Brooch

This is a lovely mid-century piece of art. The arcs of the wings and tail really add dimension and movement to the brooch. The emerald color eye adds that pop to the diamond color rhinestones. The rhinestones are set in a silver tone base metal. The piece has a locking c clasp with a long pin for your thicker coats and jackets. The brooch measures 3" L x 2 3/4" High The pin is 1 1/2" Long The brooch is unmarked The age is circa 1940's - 1950's This brooch can be worn by men or women there are 8 stones missing in various places.
